Whilst staying with our friend Tarquino in Peurto Napo we took a drive to the nearby town of Missahoualli (might have to correct that spelling later).  We had a lovely lunch in a cafe there as well as exploring the surrounding Amazonian jungle area.  We had really mixed feelings about seeing these monkeys in town.  It was nice to see them close up and we marvelled at how they had adapted to living so close to humans, but sad to see them drinking and eating discarded food, as well as smashing bottles on the ground to see if they could get anything out of them.
