SAS LogoMAIN EDUCATION PARTNER
SCHOOLS ADVISORY SERVICE

A huge ‘Thank You’ to the Schools Advisory Service for agreeing to be our main education partner.  The Schools Advisory Service is the UK’s largest and most efficient absence insurance provider, and supplies a whole range of HR, payroll, and finance services to schools.   The staff and principals are resolutely focused on providing high quality support services, and treat every school as a most valued customer.   The whole team is dedicated to supporting excellent learning experiences, and we are thrilled to have them as our main education partner.

We are hugely grateful to Dave and Frances at 4 Site 4×4 Tyre Centres, whose advice, practical help and encouragement have been outstanding.

4 Site have helped out by sourcing a set of fabulous General Grabber AT2 tyres, and the kit we will need to change tyres whilst on expedition in remote areas.  they have even agreed to train us in using tyre levers successfully, and to pass on a few trade tips!

General Tire Europe have been very generous and agreed to supply us with ten of their fabulous Grabber AT2 tyres free of charge, which should see us all the way around the world and home again.  Thank you for your support – we’ll let you know how the tyres perform.

BigGshortDavid Bowyer at Goodwinch gets loads of calls from people asking for winches, but he didn’t get one from us!  We already bought a winch and winch bumper from him last year, so this time he helped us out with a below cost deal on all of our recovery kit.   Thank you David, you certainly did look after us.  Now that we have all manner of ropey type things, and shackles, and swage blocks,  we will be confident that we can get ourselves unstuck, should the need arise.

mirageBen at Mirage of Kent Ltd has done a grand job of sign writing the vehicle, making sure our partners get great exposure for their brands.  And there’s a cool map on the door showing where we are going!

We are especially pleased to be able to work with SkyTag who are based locally to where we live.  SkyTag provide tracking equipment for the speedy return of stolen equipment and vehicles.  They are providing the SkyTag equipment and free contract for the duration of our expedition which will give them the opportunity to test and further develop their equipment in some of the more remote parts of the world.

Miles & Barr Property Management and Letting agents based in Kent are helping us with managing the letting of the house while we are away.  Much appreciated and a weight off our minds.
Foundry4x4Logo
Huge thanks to Foundry 4×4 for agreeing to be one of our expedition partners.  Foundry will supply us with parts throughout the expedition, and their amazing export expertise has already swung into action.  When we needed urgent suspension parts after a challenging trip through Kazakhstan resulted in blown HD shocks and split oil seals, they had a package with us in three days – 27 days faster than the local Land Rover dealer could offer!!   Their renowned reputation for great service and fantastic products must already be common knowledge in Kazakhstan.  The folks in Customs took the opportunity to relieve us of the ‘Foundry 4×4′  promo stickers before we could slap them on our Landy!

qtlogoA big ‘Thank You’ to QT Services, the engineering specialists behind the amazing Land Rover based Wildcat competition vehicles, who also produce a range of extremely high quality parts and accessories.  Dave Marsh of QT Services has very kindly donated a pair of their extremely strong diff guards to keep our underbelly safe from the ravages of the terrain we are encountering in more remote areas (not to mention the occasional city centre kerbstone).  Dave has also agreed to support us with technical advice should we need it when far from home – a great comfort.

polybushPolybush are considered the market leader in polyurethane replacement bushes.  Polybush didn’t hesitate to help when we approached them with our education project, and we can already vouch for the amazing durability of their bushes.  Remote Kazakh roads are something to experience, and the ride provided by our Polybushes has revolutionised the experience!  With spares on board too, I suspect we can look forward to a smooth, predictable, ride all around the world.  Thank you Polybush – you’ll never know what lifesavers you are!

Insight Creative  – have provided us with technical website support.  Thanks guys, you have been lifesavers!

Thanks to Land Rover Clothing and Gifts for discounted supplies of materials for schools.

MrThoughtful

Mr Thoughtful helps out guys who are want to be thoughtful and remember those special events with a greetings card, but too often get it wrong by leaving it too late or forgetting completely.  And having to face the consequence of that!!  US based, watch out for the planned expansion into the UK market.
