Early morning walk at Zoet water after leaving campsite

Early start as soon as the first of the genuine site campers left the site.  After a couple of hours driving we stopped off at an out of town shopping centre where we spent a couple of hours in the German equivalent of B&Q.  Massive store, very well laid out with plenty of choice.  A bit confused by the mix of imperial and metric measurements.  We thought Britain went metric because of our membership of Europe and that we are not allowed to use imperial measurements anymore.  After lunch a very frustrating afternoon driving round in circles trying to find a campsite where Paul could do some work on the car.  Eventually found a campsite in Diez, quite a bit south of our intended route.  Massive campsite, mostly Germans, decent facilities, not very expensive.  Nice to sleep lying down.
